Home to the Vedic Culture

Welcome everyone to the Githa Club of Woodbury, where we learn about the timeless beauty of Hindu Culture and tradition.  Ranging from the holy books of the Vedas and Githa to traditional food and dance.  An one hour class on ancient Indian wisdom that enlightens all those who are lost, confused and troubled in life.

Curriculum  

Hosted in R.H Stafford Library  of Woodbury MN with numerous  free 1 hour lessons,  about the concepts of the Bhagavad Githa with discussion, talks and group activities. We also educate many on the Hindu culture and traditions, such as the numerous different dance forms and food !

Stories  and Life Improvement

We explore into the vast number and stories of the Hindu pantheon and see how we can even relate it to our world. The very goal of this club is to help improve the life of your's and many around through following  the ageless classics of Hinduism

Recreation Arts

We also dive into Recreation Arts of India, the numerous types of dance forms, the millions of languages and endless traditions. ​

Vedics and Gita

About 45 minutes of the class is about the Gita and Vedics. We talk very much into the Bhagavad Githa rather then the Vedas because of the extensive library  of it. 

Food

We also cater and bring food in to help our esteemed member experiecnce the numerous different culinary classics of India. We also encourage you to also bring some of your food for us to try !

Mission

Religious, Moral & Spiritual Growth

This club was made to educate many on the basics of Hindu culture, enlighten those that want to delve deeper into the timeless beauty of this culture. While preaching  about the numerous principles  our great ancestors had taught us. We participate  in community work, many of the such starts in the winter and through the spring to help provide essentials to those that don't have it. Thank you for all those that have given your time into enquiring about our humble establishment. We hope to see in class ! 

Quick History

This club's history starts with a curious young boy in middle school. Around 7th grade, he decided to learn the teachings of Swami Chinna Jeeyar from a pamphlet at the local Indian store. Now, he is enlightened and interested in the culture of Bharat, and he is even willing to teach others too!
